Laboratories announced that Robert I. Sinclair president and chief executive
officer, today passed away after a short illness.
Mr. Sinclair served as president and CEO of Applied Science Group Inc. since 1984.
He was also the founder and CEO of Applied Neurodiagnostics Ltd, Cramlington,
Northumberland UK, since 2004
\"Our company has lost a kind, talented leader who served as an inspiration to
everyone around him, and we are deeply saddened by his death,\" said Mark Crowley,
General Manager of Applied Science Group Inc. "Our thoughts and prayers are with his
family during this very difficult time.\"
Applied Science Laboratories long-term executive team has met and taken steps to
ensure that all business activities will continue without interruption.
\"Bob was a close friend and respected mentor," said Josh Borah, VP of Engineering.
\"Bob had a natural ability to communicate with all types of people, put them at
ease, and get them on board, whether he was talking to employees in manufacturing,
researchers at universities, or investors on Wall Street. His energy and his
enterprising and innovative spirit have been instrumental in our company's growth. \"
Mr. Sinclair is survived by his wife, Valerie; and their three children, Stephen
and his wife Susan with their two children James and Riley, and two daughters
Nicola and Fiona.
